Volunteer Counselor - sharing the love and life -changing power of Jesus Christ our Lord; introduces moms to the preciousness of life that they are carrying; being a friend and mentor for women going through rough and difficult times in their lives.
Commitment is minimum of three 1/2 days a month
Training begins with 2 or 3 "on the job" days and two 1/2 day classroom training sessions
Childcare Provider - loves and nurtures babies and children while their moms are in classes learning about the things of the Lord.
Commitment is a minimum of 2 to 3 hour shifts pre month.
Training is whatever reasonable experience and willingness you can certify on the application.
Abstinence Program Presenter - speaks to students in 6th through 10th grades about the value of virtue and character, the dangers of premarital sex and their preciousness and dignity as people.
Commitment is to be available a least once or twice a month during the school day to present the program and a commitment to learning and preparing yourself to do the best possible presentation.
Training will normally consist of one half day training session, and t least 2 opportunities to see the program presented by others. You must be able to invest time in studying and learning the curriculum on your own and preparing yourself to make the best presentation possible.
Board Member - offers godly wisdom, guidance, and support in fundraising and other Public Relation issues.
Commitment is one 2 hour meeting per month, one 3-day strategic planning conference per year and the support and help periodically with special events.
Training will consist of your showing the initiative to learn all tha you can about the ministry of the CPC.
Church Liaison - puts the needs and opportunities for involvement before your church on a regular monthly basis, to be a cheerleader and supporter of the ministry of the CPC.
Commitment is to actively and faithfully engage in the statement above. We will normally have 3 to 4 meeting per year to keep you informed of needs, opportunities and the support and help periodically with special events.
Training will consist of your showing the initiative to learn all that you can about the ministry of the CPC.
Administrative Helper - helps with the abstinence program presentations, gathers materials and critiques the presenters, or helps with data processing on the computer, mail out and all sorts of sundry administrative tasks.
Grounds Keeper - to cut grass weed eat and beautify the grounds especially in the Summer time, normally once every tow weeks or so. This would be perfect for a Sunday School Class or a Men's church group ro brotherhood.
Prayer Warrior - someone willing to commit to learning about the ministry and praying in a informed way on a daily basis; would be on a prayer chain to pray for specially crisis needs would also attend our yearly volunteer appreciation banquet and other periodic meetings to help and continue to be informed about the ministry.
Teacher and Assistant Teachers - to minister grace and truth to clients in a classroom environment. The normal commitment would be one hour per week.
